A press kit has been published to mark the end of the project and in connection with the closing event held in Longwy (FR) for the INTERREG VA Greater Region project AROMA (“Approvisionnement Régional Organisé pour une Meilleure Alimentation”).
The press kit (in german) summarises the approximately 5 years of project work and gives an insight into the goals achieved for the organisation of a regional food supply in the Greater Region, which focuses on sustainable, local and high-quality food in order to improve nutrition in communal catering in this way.
The beginning of 2022 marked the end of the INTERREG project… but also the start of the permanent cross-border platform that will make it possible to supply the out-of-home catering sector with local and high-quality products from the Greater Region. The platform does not see itself as an additional intermediary, but rather as an “ENABLERATOR” that strengthens relations between actors and brings supply and demand together, especially at cross-border level. AROMA was composed of 23 cross-border partners of the Greater Region who accompany the development of the platform.
