On the occasion of the 11th International Circular Economy Conference the Institute for Applied Material Flow Management (IfaS) of the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld (University of Applied Sciences Trier) in cooperation with the Service Agency Communities in One World (SKEW) of Engagement Global invites guests from all over the world to the networking meeting “Municipalities for Global Sustainability”.
- When: Thursday, 29 October 2020
- Where: Environmental Campus Birkenfeld and Online (details to follow shortly)
The focus of the event is to share experiences made from the development of international city cooperations and to present the development and implementation of concrete projects to implement/advance towards the SDGs.
In addition, a global dialogue will be started from 14:15 (CET) to initiate the possibilities for the development of municipal (project) partnerships. This will take place in a virtual workshop, during which the participating municipalities will have the opportunity to present themselves and exchange ideas for cooperation.
In order to prepare the moderation of the virtual rooms, we ask interested municipalities to inform us when registering in which area the municipality is already active, where there is a special need for action and which special features are brought with them for an international project. For this we ask you to use the following form.
Due to the corona pandemic, only a limited number of guests can be welcomed on the environmental campus. Therefore we ask you to submit a binding registration if you are interested.
Participation in the event is free.
