From Ludwigshafen / Mannheim
At Frankenthaler Cross (Frankenthaler Kreuz) take A6, direction Saarbrücken / Kaiserslautern, approx. 80 km to Landstuhl Cross (Landstuhler Kreuz)
At Landstuhl Cross take A62, direction Luxembourg/Trier, exit Birkenfeld (approx. 40 km).

From Saarbrücken

Coming from Saarbrücken through the A1, direction Trier / Cologne.

At Nonnweiler cross (Nonnweiler Kreuz) take A62, direction Kaiserslautern / Pirmasens till exit Birkenfeld (approx. 20 km).

From Trier/Luxembourg

Coming from Trier / Luxembourg, at cross Trier (Trier Kreuz) take A1, direction Saarbrücken.

At Nonnweiler cross (Nonnweiler Kreuz) take A62, direction Kaiserslautern / Pirmasens till exit Birkenfeld (approx. 20 km).

Environmental Campus Birkenfeld (train station: Neubrücke / Nahe) can be reached by railway track Mainz-Saarbrücken, from Saarbrücken in about 50 minutes, from Frankfurt am Main in about 2,5 hours and from Mainz in about 1,5 hours.

It is a 2 minutes walk from the train station to Environmental Campus.

There is a direct train connection from Frankfurt Airport (regional train station) via Mainz to Neubrücke / Nahe (see Arriving by train).
